uAvionix AV-APA Experimental Autopilot Adapter for AV-30E — UAX-90102-01

The uAvionix AV-APA is an analog port adapter for experimental-aircraft AV-30E installations. It allows the AV-30E to provide analog heading information to supported legacy S-TEC autopilots, helping replace an older vacuum-driven directional gyro while retaining compatible autopilot functions.

Supported operating modes include GPS desired track, GPS track hold, GPS bearing and GPS steering. GPSS operation requires an AV-HSI installation and the associated software unlock.

uAvionix currently lists support for S-TEC 20, 30, 40, 50, 55, 55X, 60-1, 60-2 and 65 systems. Verify the exact autopilot model, AV-30 configuration, wiring and software requirements before ordering.
