Ceramic Aviation Grade Professional Paint Coating

PROFESSIONAL USE OF AIRCRAFT CERAMIC PROTECTION

The aviation environment is very unforgiving. Damaging UV rays, moisture, temperature extremes, and pollution — compounded by deicing solutions, oil, exhaust fumes, and bird/insect contaminants — cause damage that impairs your aircraft’s performance and ruins its appearance.

System X is the latest ceramic technology. This new coating exhibits outstanding resistance to friction, heat, and solvents. MAX coating seals, including composites, protect and bond to all painted aircraft surfaces.

System X MAX is a semi-permanent ceramic coating breakthrough in aviation protection technology. It is easily applied by hand to your plane or jet to provide long-term shine and protection.

MAX is a semi-permanent coating that becomes the functional surface of your aircraft’s paintwork. Creating an inseparable bond on a molecular level with your paintwork gives you a coating that cannot be washed off like wax or sealant.

IMG 0309 e1543589394701MAX acts as a primary or second clear coat, which provides increased protection against the elements. This new clear coating is glossier, chemical resistant, and harder than the original clear coat. Providing incredible protection against de-icing fluids, minor scratches, swirl marks, acid rain, bird droppings, and UV rays.

This coating doesn’t just form a sacrificial shield of protection like other products. Instead, it bonds into your paintwork or metal surface, creating a semi-permanent shell.

This shell provides a heat resistance of > 1000 degrees and an easy-to-clean barrier against the adherence of contaminants. Many clients enjoy using Diamon coat near hard-to-clean exhaust ports.

Diamond coat paint protection can be applied to the entire exterior of your aircraft, except rubber and soft plastic. DiamondSS bonds into the paintwork’s microscopic pores, forming an extremely durable crystal clear ceramic finish. This provides genuine long-term protection. Testing shows the DiamondSS Coating to be highly resilient to solvents, weathering, and general wear and tear.

As you can see in the System X videos, this coating demonstrates resistance to almost anything and a capacity to keep aircraft looking cleaner for longer through its hydro-repellent nature. Bug removal is only a wipe-away.

What if you need to paint or touch up your paintwork? No problem. Since DiamondSS is only a couple of microns thick, you can polish or compound the coating off before completing these tasks.

HOW IT ALL STARTED

Element 119 originated in Connecticut in 2010 as a specialty coating R&D company specializing in the aerospace industry. Coatings were developed for the likes of Sikorsky, Bombardier, as well as predominant airlines internationally.

ceramic coating distribution

Clients of this caliber demanded cutting-edge innovations for their unique challenges, which we were sure to deliver. One of these challenges was Sikorsky's requirement for an easy-to-clean, hand-applied coating to protect paintwork around helicopter exhaust ports. All other solutions would melt off during the first flight, leaving the paint to become fouled by the exhaust.

We were asked to create a coating that would withstand temps over 1000 degrees while adding gloss and long-term protection in the harshest environments. System X was developed for this purpose and performed well beyond expectations.

Seven+ years and billions of dollars in protected aircraft and vehicles later, Element 119 is now represented in 20 countries and counting. We owe our success to our close relationships with System X distribution and installation partners. We remain true to our mission, focused on delivering the planet's best, most efficient, longest-lasting coating technology. Our ceramic coatings are manufactured at our facility in Thomaston, CT, USA to the absolute highest quality standards.
