The battery came in as advertised and VERY QUICKLY. I ordered it on Friday, it shipped the following Monday and It was delivered Tuesday. Not bad at all! Fortunately it’s a sealed battery because the external box had no indicator for “this side up” and thus the delivery person just placed it down randomly. Thankfully I was there to grab it.
The battery I received was stamped about 10 months old. Gill batteries typically only last 5 years or so which is kind of a let down given the price. I’ll be trickle charging this one during off season months though so we will see.
The battery was double boxed. It came with the original battery box inside of a small nondescript brown box. It contained the Airworthiness FAA Form 8130-3 and the shipping manifest.
I would definitely recommend that the external box has a “side up” indication for the delivery guys.
Gill Battery Warranty – Begins at the time of installation. We forwarded the concern about the shipping box with this side up.
Looking forward to not having the G35 wet cell to deal with
wish these would last more than 3-4 years.
