The installation must be carried out by authorized and licensed professionals for optimal performance and regulatory compliance, especially in U.S.-registered aircraft, where FAA form 337 must be filed.
The STC Group LLC is currently reviewing its EASA STC and is committed to offering a fully-supported autopilot solution for all Cessna 150/152 models. The digital autopilot kit provides a full-featured, digitally certified solution that enhances control and safety during flights.

Technically advanced airplane (TAA) has been in the aviation lexicon for several years. Even if you’ve never flown in one, you probably know that it involves electronic flight instrument systems (“glass”) as opposed to traditional analog (“steam” or “six-pack”) gauges.
The FAA originally described a TAA as an aircraft equipped with at least a “moving-map display, an IFR-approved GPS navigator, and an autopilot.” However, in the summer of 2018, the FAA specifically defined the term technically advanced airplane in the federal aviation regulations (61.129(j)). Combined with a change to the requirements for commercial pilot training, this change gives career-bound pilots access to more—potentially more modern and less expensive—options for training aircraft.

The Trio Pro Pilot Digital Autopilot kit for Cessna 150/152 includes the Control Head, 2 Servos, a complete wire harness, two switches, a placard, the STC Kit Hardware, and all necessary STC paperwork.
Authorized and licensed professionals must install your new Trio Pro Pilot Autopilot for optimal performance and regulatory compliance. This is especially relevant for installations in U.S.-registered aircraft, as FAA form 337 must be filed, among other prerequisites. Moreover, the installation must be in the aircraft logbook per the 14 CFR Part 91, sections 91.405 & 91.417.

All orders are shipped within 48 hours Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

Order Tracking
If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.
Shipping Rates
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the size and weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page, you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to.
Back Orders
If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.

Vendors on Grumman Parts Individual Refund Policies supersede this policy!
Parts may be returned for a refund if we or a vendor ships the wrong part or it is not as represented within 15 days.
If you ordered the wrong part or decided not to install it, a coupon, less a 10% restocking fee of the retail price of the product may be issued within 30 days, provided the product is returned in the unused, same condition. Trio auto-pilots and uAvionics products require recertification. Restocking on Trio and uAvionix products is 15%. All return shipping and freight are the responsibility of the purchaser.
